Elderwood Veigar introduces the Yordle to the Eclipse faction. That faction also includes the Coven and Death Blossom skin lines. In Elderwood skins, Riot Games typically depicts League of Legends champions as closely connected to nature. The developer tends to incorporate plants in Elderwood designs.

Elderwood Veigar sees the champion transformed into a little mushroom monster. His hat is replaced with a semi-transparent, glowing blue toadstool; his staff sports a purple toadstool at its tip. The skin includes new sound effects, visual effects and animations.
