ENCE, a full Finnish Counter-Strike: Global Offensive team, became the eighth invited team to this year's Cathedral of Counter-Strike event.
The Finnish team made waves at the IEM Katowice Major earlier in the year when it made a cinderella run to the final before falling to Astralis. ENCE looks to take the next step forward after decent performances at BLAST Pro Series Sao Paulo and StarSeries & i-League Season 7.
ENCE's roster is as follows:
- Aleski "Allu" Jalli
- Alekski "Aleksib" Virolainen
- Jerej "sergej" Salo
- Jani "Aerial" Jussila
- Sami "xseveN" Laasanen
- Slaava "Twista" Rasanen (coach)
ENCE joins reigning Cologne champions Natus Vincere, Astralis, BIG, FaZe Clan, Fnatic, MIBR, and Ninjas in Pyjamas as invites for the event. Four more teams will be invited with an additional four earning spots through various qualifiers.
