Epic Games Announces NFL Receiver Justin Jefferson to Join Cosmetic Icon Series

Justin Jefferson, rookie NFL wide receiver for the Minnesota Vikings, is among the first American football player to join the Fortnite Icon Series.

Epic Games announced the upcoming release on Fortnite's official Twitter account early on Monday, April 26. According to the tweet, players will be able to grab a brand new dance emote and full Locker Bundle cosmetic set inspired by Jefferson on Wednesday, April 28. Its debut will happen on the Item Shop as soon as it drops alongside the "Get Griddy" emote dance by Allen Davis.

Jefferson is set to receive his very own emote styled after his endzone dance moves and his very own Locker Bundle including a full outfit, back bling, pickaxe, and weapon wrap. Epic has yet to confirm a price for the full bundle and additional "Get Griddy" emote, but has named the entire set ahead of its release.

According to a post on Epic's Fortnite website, the full list of available cosmetics is as follows:

  • Outfit: Hit Man Outfit
  • Back Bling: Hit Me!
  • Emotes: Get Griddy & Signature Shuffle
  • Pickaxe: Weathered Gold
  • Wrap: Arcade Kid

As mentioned before, the set drops on Wednesday, April 28. Epic has yet to name a proper time so players can likely expect it to hit the Item Shop around midnight.
