Escape from Tarkov Christmas Tree: How to Craft it
Escape from Tarkov players can now craft a Christmas tree for their hideouts, which in turn allows them to craft other items. Here's what you need to know about the Christmas tree hideout module in Escape from Tarkov.

Escape from Tarkov Christmas Tree: How to Craft it
To craft the Christmas tree, players will need the following ingredients:
- 10,000 Roubles
- 10 Christmas tree decoration balls (red)
- 10 Christmas tree decoration balls (silver)
- Five Christmas tree decoration balls (violet)
The Christmas balls in question can be found throughout Tarkov's various maps.
Once you've crafted your Christmas tree, you'll be able to find it in your hideout. The Christmas tree allows players to exchange Christmas tree decoration balls of all colors for weapons and gear. The exchange rates are as follows:
- One red, one silver, and one violet ball: DT MDR 7.62x51 assault rifle
- Two silver balls: 6sh118 raid backpack
- One violet ball: Orsis T-5000 .308 sniper rifle
- 12 red balls: B&T MP9-N 9x19 submachine gun
- 15 violet balls and 10 silver balls: Weapon case
Players in the community have done the math and determined these exchange rates to be well below what the individual balls are worth when selling on the Flea Market. It's recommended players simply sell the balls and buy whatever they desire, rather than perform the exchanges offered by the tree.
