FAL buff Warzone was one of the big changes that came with the Season 4 Reloaded update that went live on June 30.

Many of the changes that came with the update were large-scale things, like the 200 player lobbies, Supply Run Contracts, and Juggernaut Royale, but there were a number of nerfs and buffs as well. The buff to the FAL was easily one of the most significant from the update.

Before the update, the FAL was considered a second-tier assault rifle, largely eclipsed by the Grau and the MP5. Now, since both of those guns were nerfed, the FAL can step up as arguably the best AR in COD: Warzone.

In the update, devs buffed the FAL to kill with one-hit headshots from close range. Before, players would just fire repeatedly hoping that their opponent's armor would crack, but now one shot is all it takes.

After the buff, players realized that a new loadout for the FAL would improve the gun even more. In order to use the FAL most effectively, players should use a Monolithic Suppressor on the muzzle, the XRX Marksman for the barrel, the G.I. Mini Reflex for optics, the Commando foregrip, and 30-round Mags.
