Fan favorite maps such as Nuketown, Firing Range, Summit, and Jungle will make a return appearance in Activision's Call of Duty (CoD) 2020, according to leaker LongSensation.

The rumor came down from his secondary twitter account as his first is currently on suspension. In his tweet, he explains that the aforementioned maps have already been remastered and are coming to the 2020 title. Additionally, he laments that Activision should just remaster the original title and release that. Commentators on the tweet seemed to agree with him.

Nuketown, Jungle, Summit, and Firing Range are already maps that have a special place in players' hearts. However, some are not all that excited about seeing more recycled content. CoD, as a franchise, appears to be guilty of this more frequently than fans are accepting of.

Others say they don't mind the remastered maps as long as there is some semblance of new content to get through that will balance it out. Nuketown, for example, is a well-known staple in most Black Ops titles. Bringing it back makes sense as long as there are never-before-seen maps to conquer alongside it.

Additionally, in a separate tweet, LongSensation mentioned that CoD 2020 will most likely be Warzone-compatible.

CoD 2020 will not have its own Battle Royale mode. Instead, players will be able to connect to Warzone via the game's menu. The two will be integrated together. How much the titles will be entwined, however, is yet to be revealed.

DBLTAP cannot confirm the veracity of these rumors at this time. There has been no word from Activision on their authenticity, either.
