Fan-Made Heirloom Gives Wattson Electrified Saber

An Apex Legends fan has designed an Heirloom cosmetic for Wattson that equips her with a very posh, very deadly electrified saber.

Heirlooms are the rarest and highly coveted cosmetics in Apex Legends. These special cosmetics take the shape of melee weapons that replace a Legend's unarmed state, equipping them with a flashy new attack to perform instead of a simple punch. Each Legend gets only one Heirloom, and the release of an Heirloom for a Legend is a major occasion for those players who main that Legend.

As Wattson has yet to receive an Heirloom from Apex Legends developers Respawn Entertainment, fan u/-Alfa- decided to create their own concept and post it on the game's subreddit. -Alfa- said they made the concept using Blender and Substance Painter, and the results are very impressive. The post has already received more than 21,000 upvotes on the Apex Legends subreddit.

Players complimented the weapon's thematic fits with Wattson, as well as the potential puns to be made using the double meaning of "fencing."

The next Apex Legends Heirloom was revealed in late June and is slated to go to Revenant, who will be able to yield an incredibly menacing scythe as his melee weapon. The Heirloom is scheduled to become available after the Genesis Collection wraps up July 13.
