Far Cry 6 Criptograma Chest and Chart Locations: Where to Find

In Far Cry 6, opening all of the Criptograma Chests not only rewards players with pieces of high-grade armor, but also nets them the "That's Puzzling" trophy/achievement.

There are 15 Criptograma Chests widely spread throughout the fictional Caribbean island of Yara, with each requiring players to collect two Criptograma Charts in order to open them. Here's a breakdown of the 15 Criptograma Chest and 30 Criptograma Chart locations in Far Cry 6.

Although the Criptograma Charts don't appear on the map, they are always close by to their chest. Around each Criptograma Chest, there are blue symbols that point you in the direction of their two corresponding Charts. Each chest and chart also have a subtle wind chime that helps in locating them.

Lastly, the Criptograma Chests and Charts aren't missable, meaning you can still find them after the story in free-roam. Keep track of which ones you’ve found in the Criptograma Charts screen via the Collection menu.

Chest No. 1: #06 Royal Palm & #01 Yaran Flag

This chest is found on Isla Santuario to the north of Armoria sitting at the porch of a house by the road. The first chart is on the roof of the house by some racing chairs, and the second is to the right side of the house in a thin pipe.

Reward: Hazmat Gloves MK II (Improved damage to poisoned enemies)

Chest No. 2: #22 Dog & #03 Pig

This chest is found on the south coast of Madrugada at Costa Del Mar in El Dorado Cabins on a small tower. Both of its charts are at the Costa Del Mar beach. One Criptograma Chart is southeast of the cabins behind the large rock with an arrow in it, and the other is at the southernmost tip of the peninsula left of the first chart.

Chest No. 3: #10 Rooster & #25 Yara Libre

This chest is located on the south coast of Madrugada at northwest Costa Del Mar in Poesia on a pier. The first chart is on the rock in the distance, straight ahead from the jetty with the chest on it. Head south along the west coast of the small island until you can grapple up the cliffs past the lighthouse to find the second chart.

Chest No. 4: #16 El Trompo & #19 Sunrise Mariposa Flower

This chest is near the middle of Madrugada at the centre of Lozania in northern Verdera on top of a billboard. Both are found on the rooftops houses around Verdera, with one south of the chest across the rooftops, and then further south for the other.

Chest No. 5: #28 Yaran Queen Butterfly & #12 Shark

This chest is on the northern part of Madrugada at Aguas Lindas, directly north of Ida's Refuge by the pier. The first chart is found on the southern cliff of the island directly north of the chest. Head east from there to the small island with the broken pier and dive into the water. By the deepest plank, you can see is the second chart.

Chest No. 6: #23 Libertad Emblem & #04 Starfish

This chest can be found in the western part of Valle De Oro in Balaceras, south of Feroza at a construction site next to the greenhouse with a water tank on it. Both of the charts are in the same yard, but are hidden behind some wooden pallets you must destroy. The first chart is right of the greenhouse in a open yellow shipping container, while the second is below the broken steering wheel of an old car at the end of the zipline near the outer edge of the construction site.

Chest No. 7: #13 Cat & #29 Soursop

This chest is in the southwest part of Valle De Oro at Cruz Del Salvador in Segunda inside the watchtower at the central part of the field. Both charts are underground in manholes covered by wooden boards on different sides of the field. The first is the southeast of the chest, while the second is to the northeast.

Chest No. 8: #09 Tarantula & #26 Boxing Gloves

This chest is in the central part of Valle De Oro in Noventarmas east of the big dam next to the ladder of the large tower. Climb the tower and use your grappling hook to get to the top to find the first chart. Use your wingsuit from there to get the second chart from the smaller tower at the west edge of the flooded area.

Chest No. 9: #20 Mamey Sapote & #17 Coin

This chest is in the northeast park of Valle De Oro at Barrial southeast of Rubén next to the "No Pase" sign. The first chart is under a pier to the northeast. Southeast from the chest around the cliffs is some orange netting. Shoot it and enter the cave for the second chart.

Chest No. 10: #18 Cigar & #21 Croco Taxi

This chest is in the northeast part of El Este in north La Joya on the roof of the People's Pride Clinic. The charts are on the roofs of the apartment buildings to the west, with the first on the northern one and the second on the one by the water.

Chest No. 11: #14 Horse & #30 Domino

This chest is in the northern part of El Este in north Sierra Perdida on the pier of the fishing village, Barriga. Both charts are found at huts around the swamps. The first is directly north of the chest. The second is at the west edge of the swamps.

Chest No. 12: #07 El Crocodilo & #27 Tocororo

This chest is in the northern part of El Este north of Savannah Fields on the roof of a shack in Sierra Perdida. The first chart is southwest of the chest in a partially-flooded shack with a destroyable wooden door. The second is on the wall of a building a couple hundred meters south of the chest.

Chest No. 13: #05 Machete & #24 Chalice

This chest is in the southeast part of El Este in Conuco in Concepción on the rooftop of the building left to the NPCs in Corazon Alley. From the chest, follow the blue arrow to the north, jump over to the roofs and then drop down into the yard straight ahead to find the first chart in a market stall. From there, go up the stairs and head to the right, climb the roofs and jump over to the second chart.

Chest No. 14: #08 Car Clásico & #15 El Flamenco

This chest is in the southern outskirts of Esperanza at the Siete Pajaros Apartments, northeast of El Presidente Square. Use the grapple point to climb to the roof and head south to find the first chart, then use the zipline and climb the vines to get the other.

Chest No. 15: #11 Rum & #02 La Guitarra

This chest is in the northeast part of Esperanza at Old Pueblo on a rooftop just north of La Divinidad Cathedral. When facing south towards the cathedral, head along the rooftops to the right, and jump over to the cathedral balcony to find the first chart. Go inside the cathedral and head to the balcony east, use the plank to jump from the cathedral to the rooftop of the building ahead for the second chart.
