Favorite Weapon Feature Added to Weapon Mastery in PUBG PC Update 5.3
PUBG Corp added a new feature to PUBG PC test servers Wednesday in PUBG PC Update 5.3 allowing players to choose a favorite weapon in the Weapon Mastery tab.
When a player selects a favorite weapon, that weapon's stats will show up first in the player's PUBG ID regardless of whether it is that player's highest level weapon. The weapon will stay at the top of the PUBG ID even if the sorting feature is used.
PC Players: Update 5.3 is now on the Test Server.

- Locked crates removed from Random Crate pool

We've also mitigated an issue where players are bumped into the air when moving close to objects.

To favorite a weapon, players must locate the grey star beside the weapon in the Weapon Mastery tab and click it, turning it to gold.
Only one weapon can be favorited at a time, and categories cannot be favorited.
The favorite weapon feature is one among several quality of life improvements PUBG Corp has included in PUBG Update 5.3, its last for the year. Also included in the update are the ability to save settings to the cloud for more comfortable play across multiple PCs and improvements to the game's blood effects.
