February's Pokémon GO Community Day voting options
Although Trainers will get to vote on the next Community Day Pokémon, they will have to choose from four options: Machop, Rhyhorn, Vulpix, and Dratini.
Each Pokémon will gain an exclusive attack when evolved.
- Vulpix or Alolan, when evolved into Ninetales or Alolan Ninetales, will get the Charged Attack Weather Ball.
- Machop, when evolved into Machamp, will get the exclusive attack Payback.
- Rhyhorn, when evolved into Rhyperior, will get the exclusive attack Rock Wrecker.
- Dratini, when evolved into Dragonite, will get the Charged Attack Superpower.
No matter the outcome of the voting, February's Community Day will also mark the first appearance of Shiny Rhyhorn in Pokémon GO.
How to vote for the featured Pokémon in February's Pokémon GO Community Day
Trainers can cast a vote for the Pokémon of their choice on Feb. 1 from 12:00 a.m. to 11:59 p.m. in their local time zones by catching 20 Pokémon to earn 200 Stardust.
Trainers can also cast votes by completing research tasks given at PokéStops. Every PokéStop will also have a voting-related research task that day that will allow you to vote for a specific Pokémon. Trainers get a vote for each research task they complete. Be careful though! Some PokéStops may not have a research task for the Pokémon you want to vote for, so be sure to check before completing the task!
