An Easter egg teasing the upcoming Fiddlesticks visual and gameplay update has been uncovered in the latest League of Legends Patch 10.6 Public Beta Environment update.

The Easter egg itself hasn't arrived in the game. Surrender@20 discovered files that appear to refer to a map Easter egg in the new additions in the League of Legends PBE update. It also uncovered a model for the updated Fiddlesticks that aligns with concept art Riot Games revealed in January.

The model shows Fiddlesticks as an unnerving, shambolic creation, a mix of wooden and metal pieces. It hunches over, with arms that trail down to its feet and a lolling grey tongue stretching to its midsection.

The new model aligns with Riot Games' stated goal of making Fiddlesticks more frightening than goofy.

"We want Fiddle to be the iconic ambush champion, with a kit that's centered around the concept of fear," Riot Games wrote in January.

League of Legends Patch 10.6 is scheduled to arrive on live servers March 18.
