FIFA 20 Carniball might've been teased Wednesday when users noticed that a new loading screen appeared upon entering FIFA Ultimate Team.

EA Sports traditionally builds up hype and anticipation for FIFA Ultimate Team promotions by releasing teasers in the loading screen. These teasers can range from actually announcing the promotion, revealing specific players or even card types for the event.

The loading screen image, which just appears to be a potential card design, got fans thinking that the Carniball promotion is on its way. FIFA 19 Carniball took place after Winter Refresh last year so it would make sense that Carniball would follow this year's Winter Refresh.

Although, there's been no mention of the promotion from EA Sports on social media. The developer was active in build-up to Future Stars and Winter Refresh, but no word on Carniball.

It's possible this loading screen is hinting at something completely different, but the smart money is on Carniball starting Friday.

FIFA 20 Carniball, much like other promotions, should feature new Squad Building Challenges, Objectives and a promotional team in packs. Carniball, if handled like Ultimate Scream, might be one of the best promotions of the year.
