FIFA 20 Team of the Year Start Date Revealed

FIFA 20 Team of the Year start date was revealed Wednesday as the biggest promotion of the Ultimate Team year is on the horizon.

Team of the Year features the single most boosted special squad in FIFA Ultimate Team. Eleven players are awarded insane boosts to relevant categories making them the most sought after FUT cards.

Here's when Team of the Year is scheduled to start.

FIFA 20 Team of the Year is scheduled to start Monday, Jan. 6.

Following the same model as previous events, it's expected attackers will be the first group of players released. Attackers will be followed by midfielders and eventually defenders. After each individual group has been released, all cards will be in packs for a limited time.

Fans expect similar Squad Building Challenges from FIFA 19 in which players like Gareth Bale received a nominee card for his efforts in the Champions League final.

It's looking like a tight race for who makes the final starting XI. Fans expect Lionel Messi, Virgil Van Dijk, Andrew Robertson and Alisson Becker to make the squad. Outside of those players, fans might be in for a surprise.
