FIFA 21 cover is one of the most anticipated reveals for fans of EA Sports' soccer franchise.

Fans have voiced their displeasure with the current iteration, FIFA 20, over the past few months citing issues like Overload Ball Side, Drop Back and other tactics taking away from the joy of the game. At one point or another for most franchises, fans give up on the current title and build hope for the next.

It seems many are already jumping ship on FIFA 20. So, with FIFA 21 news expected in June and July, who should grace the cover? There were three FIFA 20 cover stars, one for each version of the game. Eden Hazard, Virgil Van Dijk and Zinedine Zidane were on the regular, Champions and Ultimate editions of the game, respectively.

Here are five players who should be on the or a cover for FIFA 21.

5. Jadon Sancho

Jadon Sancho is one of the most promising talents in the world. Currently playing for Borussia Dortmund, he's been heavily linked with a move back to the Premier League. If he ends up signing for someone like Liverpool or Manchester United, he might make the cover considering how involved he was in FIFA 20's Ultimate Team branding.

4. Mohamed Salah

Liverpool's Mohamed Salah is a favorite to follow Virgil Van Dijk as a FIFA cover star. He's been a prolific goalscorer since joining the Reds. Salah helped Liverpool lift the Champions League trophy for a sixth time and are a favorite to repeat as champions. If they do, expect Salah to be in the conversation.

3. Sadio Mane

Sadio Mane has taken over this season as one of the most popular players in the world. He featured in the Team of the Year and even was in shouting distance of the Ballon d'Or. Keep an eye on the Senegalese winger to make the cover.

2. Kylian Mbappe

It's wild to think Mbappe hasn't been a FIFA cover star yet. He's arguably the best player in the world and is primed for a strong Euro 2020 performance. If Mbappe helps France to another international trophy, and maybe even moves clubs, he'll be a favorite no doubt.

What better choice for the FIFA 21 cover than the reigning Ballon d'Or winner? Messi hasn't featured on the cover of the series since FIFA 16 and FIFA 21 might be a better time than ever to bring him back.
