The FIFA 21 Ultimate 'What If' Team 2 cards are now available in packs. The 'What If' promotion combines the virtual world of FIFA 21 Ultimate Team with the performances of certain players in real-life soccer matches.
'What If' cards receive boosts depending on how a given player performs in soccer matches in the real world. Attackers and midfielders will receive an upgrade given that the player’s club scores at least six total goals in their next five domestic league matches. On the other hand, defenders and goalkeepers will be boosted if the player’s club keeps at least one clean sheet over their next five domestic league matches. According to the EA website, the "Upgrade Tracking will start from the date and time they are first released into FIFA Ultimate Team."
