FIFA 22 Flashback Raphaël Varane Leaked for Team of the Year

With Team of the Year in full swing, EA Sports is expected to drop plenty of special cards in FIFA 22 during the next week, from TOTY Moments items to Flashbacks. One new card that has leaked in the FIFA community and that we can likely expect soon is a Flashback Raphaël Varane SBC.

FUT leaker FUTSheriff shared the card on Twitter over the weekend saying that the card is confirmed to arrive in the coming days. This will likely be on the first day on TOTY defenders in packs.

Varane has yet to receive a special, upgraded card in FIFA 22, only his Ones to Watch item is available and has yet to be upgraded. With Varane's featuring in previous TOTYs a Flashback to his time at Real Madrid in TOTY is a reasonable choice.

According to FUTSheriff's leak, a Flashback Varane would have the following potential stats:

• Pace: 88
• Shooting: 54
• Passing: 72
• Dribbling: 76
• Defending: 93
• Physical: 90

With Varane's pace and defending stats, as well as medium/high work rates, Flashback Varane would be an insane card. During the TOTY attackers, we received a Flashback Harry Kane, and for the midfielders, we received a TOTY Player Moments Lucas Paquetá. Based on that, a special TOTY commemorative SBC is likely to come to FIFA 22, and Varane would be a good choice.
