FIFA 22 Future Stars Team 2: 5 Best Players

Here's our list for the five best players in FIFA 22's Future Stars Team 2.

5. Patson Daka (ST, Leicester City: 88 Rated)

Patson Daka has emerged as a solid striker to back up the recently injured Jaime Vardy for Leicester City. Daka already received a Winter Wildcards item in FIFA 22 back in December as part of the Wildcard Swaps, which most players passed up on, but we feel was a solid card. However, this new Future Stars item looks even better. With the upgrade to 4* weak foot and skill moves, 98 pace, and 90 shooting, the Zambian will play like one of the best strikers in the Premier League in FIFA 22, and we definitely recommend trying him out if you missed out on his Winter Wildcards.

4. Maxence Lacroix (CB, Wolfsburg: 90 Rated)

When Maxence Lacroix's gold card was revealed at the start of FIFA 22, he featured in almost every starting team for the first few weeks. Lacroix's base gold card possesses 88 pace and 88 defending, for a center back, the card was insane at the start. Now, with his first special card of FIFA 22, his Future Stars card looks unbelievable. With 93 pace, 89 defending, and 86 physicals, an anchor makes him one of the most dominant CBs not just in the Bundesliga, but in the game. There's no wonder why his card is already over 800,000 coins, and it will be a valuable defensive asset to anyone who packs him, and a nightmare for anyone who plays against him.

3. Florian Wirtz (CAM, Leverkusen: 92 Rated)

Another rising talent out of the Bundesliga, Wirtz has big shoes to fill when Kai Havertz left Leverkusen in 2020 for Chelsea. However, Wirtz has definitely done well so far for the squad, and in FIFA 22, has already received a POTM award and two TOTW cards. Now at 92 rated, his Future Stars looks to be a great CAM, with 93 dribbling, 94 passing, and solid pace and finishing. With all of the Bundesliga and German players available to link to, Wirtz is a great Future Stars card to add to your teams.

2. Ryan Gravenberch (CM, Ajax, 92 Rated)

Gravenberch is one of the most highly scouted players out of Ajax since Frenkie De Jong and Matthijs De Light, and his potential as a box-to-box midfielder is up there with some of the best young stars in Europe. In FIFA 21, his Eredivise Squad Foundations card was popular for those with Eredivise teams or low-rated squads, and in FIFA 22, his RTTK card was popular early on as one of the best midfielders in the game for some time. Gravenberch's Future Stars card has great passing and dribbling, and can play anywhere in the midfield, from CAM to CDM, and play the full 90 mins with his 96 stamina.

1. Pedri (CM, FC Barcelona, 93 Rated)

Pedri's Future Stars card is now one of the best midfielders in the game, hands down. With 5* skill moves and 4* weak foot, 97 stamina, and top level passing and dribbling, he is already extinct on the transfer market. Pedri and his fellow Future Star teammate Ferran Torres perfect link to each other, and may be one of the most valuable perfect link duos in the game currently with their stats. If you manage to get both of these cards, you are set until TOTS. Pedri is by far the best Future Stars card in the entire promotion in our opinion.
