Icon Swaps is one of the more polarizing promotions in FIFA Ultimate Team. Fans appreciate that they can earn players and packs through completing in game objectives, but fans have criticized the rewards in the past. The community has even found a way to complete Icon Swaps quicker in Live FUT Friendlies by committing to a Golden Goal setting where the first player to score more often than not wins the game. This allows players to complete tokens much quicker.

• Prime Icon Pack - 8 Tokens
• Hristo Stoichkov (Prime) - 9 Tokens
• 91+ Mid or Prime Icon Pack - 10 Tokens
• Steven Gerrard (Moments) - 10 Tokens
• Marcos Cafu (Prime) - 11 Tokens

The selection this time around is much improved from the first Icon Swaps. Additionally, EA Sports has introduced Moments Icons for the first time. Players might not be enticed to go for the bigger rewards like Cannavaro or the 92+ Prime or Moments Pack, but will settle for a Prime Icon Pack and then the player packs. Those packs were notably saved last time around for Team of the Year. Players might be inclined to save those for something like FUT Birthday or Team of the Season.
