FIFA 22 Muriel vs Darmian: Which to Complete?

EA Sports released a Showdown SBC set in FIFA 22 circling around the upcoming Atalanta and Inter match this weekend, including players Matteo Darmian and Luis Muriel. Both cards look very solid, but ideally, you'd rather only spend your coins or fodder in your club on one that will likely get upgraded.

It is a tough choice, but we feel like Darmian is the better choice of the two to complete before the match on Sunday, Jan. 16. Here's why.

FIFA 22 Muriel vs Darmian: Why you Should Complete Matteo Darmian

There are a few reasons why we feel that Darmian's Showdown card is the better option if you were to choose only one of the SBCs to complete.

For starters, Inter look to be the favorites to win going in. Although both sides drew in their first match earlier this season, Inter are in form, coming off of five straight wins and a Supercoppa Italiana final win against Juventus. The team is playing well and looks to continue the momentum.

In addition, there are plenty of strikers in FIFA 22 that are similar to Muriel's Showdown SBC. He is one of few strikers of his quality in Serie A, so for Serie A teams, he can be nice to add. However, Darmian provides more link options than Muriel, and is also a great RWB, even before the +1 or +2 upgrade. His five star weak foot is great for pushing up-field, and with a Shadow chemistry style, he becomes a top tier RB.

Both Darmian and Muriel are good players for Serie A teams, and if you can complete both, you'll be getting two good cards to add to your club. But if you can only afford one, we lean towards completing Darmian's Showdown SBC over Muriel.
