FIFA 22 Team of the Year Defender and Goalkeeper Nominees Revealed

EA Sports released the FIFA 22 Team of the Year defender and goalkeeper nominees on Sunday, Jan. 9 following the attacker and midfielder nominees the two days prior.

This defender vote is likely to be one of the most contested TOTY voting periods in the history of FIFA Ultimate Team. Numerous players have earned the right to be featured, but only four players can make it in. And then, only one goalkeeper but that's likely a battle of two players.

As previously mentioned, this is likely to be a battle between Mendy and Donnarumma. Considering how popular Donnarumma has been in FUT this year, expect him to win after leading Italy to a Euro 2020 win.
