FIFA 23 is inching closer and closer, with FIFA 22 coming to an end after this summer. Expectations are high for the new FIFA, being the last installment under the FIFA title before the franchise name changes to EA Sports FC.

EA hasn't dropped much news regarding FIFA 23, outside of gameplay features like cross-platform and leaks of new cards. The middle of the summer is usually when EA begins releasing information on the upcoming FIFA title, including the game's release date. Here's the expected release date for FIFA 23.

FIFA 23 Release Date

FIFA 22 released on September 27, 2021. Typically, EA releases a new FIFA every September, with an expection in FIFA 21 due to the COVID-19 pandemic. Early access usually begins in the beginning of September, with ratings for players being revealed in August.

Based on previous years, we can expect FIFA 23 to arrive in September, likely between September 14 and September 24. The beta of the game will likely arrive a week before the game drops. We don't expect another delay to push the game back as it did to FIFA 21.

Ultimately, we'll have to wait for EA Sports to reveal the game's release date, likely sometime towards the beginning of August.
