Final Fantasy 7 Remake Voice Cast: List of Notable Actors

The remake of Final Fantasy VII is rapidly approaching its release date of April 20, 2020. With only three months left until launch, players have been wondering just who will be upholding the mantles of their favorite characters from this beloved Square Enix franchise.
We've compiled a short list of all the most notable confirmed voice actors in the game.
Final Fantasy 7 Remake Voice Cast
1. Kenta Miyake
Kenta Miyake is returning to Final Fantasy franchise as Roche. He previously played Gus in Origins and Gladiolus Amicitia in XV. Ace Attorney fans will know Miyake as Shi-Long Lang while others may recognize him as Miche Zacharias from Attack on Titan, All Might in My Hero Academia, Kratos in God of War, and Sonic the Hedgehog's Vector the Crocodile.
2. Keiji Fujiwara
Keiji Fujiwara will also be returning to the Final Fantasy franchise as Reno to reprise his role. He has also voiced Ardyn Izunia in XV and NT. Most will know him as Axel from Kingdom Hearts, but he also voiced Cole MacGrath in Infamous 2 and Kiriya from
Senran Kagura.
3. Taiten Kusunoki
Taiten Kusunoki will be reprising his role in Final Fantasy VII as Rude. Fans will most likely recognize him from Dragon Ball as Nail, Berail in Devil May Cry 4, and Sonic the Hedgehog's E-123 Omega.
4. Erica Lindbeck
Erica Lindbeck will be making her debut in the Final Fantasy franchise as Jesse. She has previously voiced various champions in both League of Legends and Smite, as well as Celica in Fire Emblem Warriors, Futaba Sakura from Persona 5, Blaze the Cat from Sonic the Hedgehog.
5. Gideon Emery
Gideon Emery will be voicing Biggs in the Final Fantasy remake. His previous credits include Fenris from Dragon Age II, Kenn from Mass Effect 2, Fergus Reid in Wolfenstein, several characters in Fire Emblem: Fates, and Seneschal in Dragon's Dogma.
Other actors include Katsumi Cho, John Eric Bentley, Genzo Wakayama, Britt Baron, and Cody Christian. Cho, who previously voiced Kimahri Ronso, will now be voicing Heidigger in the remake. Well-known Nick Fury voice actor Bentley will be portraying Barrett Wallace. Wakayama, previously the voice of Ansem the Wise from Kingdom Hearts, will be bringing life to President Shinra.
Jones and Christian will be making their major video game debuts as fan-favorites Tifa Lockhart and Cloud Strife, respectively.
