Final Fantasy VII Remake Demo: How to Download
By Jack O'Dwyer
Final Fantasy VII Remake demo has hit the PlayStation Store leaving players wondering how to download it.
The demo went live in the morning of Mar. 2 for all PlayStation players ahead of the game's Apr. 10 release date. PS4 users will get a sneak preview into the game they've all be waiting for. Square Enix has kept so much under wraps to feed the hype. Now, at long last, they're letting their fans experience all the hard work the development team has been doing over the past few years.
Final Fantasy VII Remake Demo: How to Download
The first step would be to turn on your PlayStation 4 and navigate to the Store icon on your screen. This should bring up the Store menu where you can search through various headings and titles to purchase.
Next, navigate to the "Games" heading. The demo should be featured as the first option you see. If this doesn't work, use the "Search" option at the top of your screen. Your console may also need to update.
Be aware that searching for the demo may just bring you to the game's pre-order page. This is fine as the demo will be located near the bottom of the page.
Once you've found the demo version of the game, all you need to do is select it to download and wait. The file is 7.55 GB so make sure you have enough room. The demo should be free. If you're being asked to pay for something, you aren't selecting the right option.
The demo only contains the first Mako Reactor 1 bombing mission from the first chapter of the game. Fortunately, this means players won't have to worry about spoiling anything huge for themselves.
More information about the Final Fantasy VII Remake demo can be found on the PlayStation Store website.
