The Final Fantasy VII Remake Intergrade release date is one many gamers have circled on their calendars. Intergrade is an upgrade of last year's remake of perhaps the most popular entry in the Final Fantasy series. The new game also features additional downloadable content exclusive to the PS5

Intergrade was announced at the end of February during Sony's State of Play event. The upgraded version of the game features enhanced visuals and performance and features new chapters in the game's story. These new missions will see Yuffie Kisaragi as the main playable character, who did not appear in the original release of the game.

Final Fantasy VII Remake Intergrade is set to release this summer on June 10. If you already own Final Fantasy VII Remake, you can upgrade to Intergrade at no additional cost. You can also transfer all your saved data over to Intergrade.

Given that the new chapters are paid DLC, you will still have to purchase them if you want to play with Yuffie. She will be joined by a new character named Sonon Kusakabe who will also be playable. No details such as story or length have yet to be revealed for the DLC chapters.

Final Fantasy VII Remake Intergrade is scheduled for release on June 10. You can prepare by playing last year's release by downloading it as a PlayStation Plus free game for March 2021.
