Final Fantasy VII Remake Release Date

Final Fantasy 7 Remake will launch on PlayStation 4, with additional platforms yet to be confirmed. The new release date is April 10 after the game was delayed.

Final Fantasy VII Remake Trailers

Final Fantasy VII Remake has five notable trailers and all of them did an excellent job of revealing new features or building hype. The game was first teased back at E3 2015, and then later at PSX 2015. Eventually, it made its return at the PlayStation State of Play in 2019. Then it was released again at E3 2019 and finally, TGS 2019.

Final Fantasy VII Remake Switch

The remake is announced to be released on the PS4, but will most likely come out on the Nintendo Switch as well. Hajime Tabata, the director of Final Fantasy 15, previously announced tests had been carried out to see how the Unreal Engine 4 performed on the Switch, which is an engine that is used for the Final Fantasy 7 Remake.

Final Fantasy VII Remake Collector's Edition

Final Fantasy VII Remake has two different special editions. The Deluxe Edition of Final Fantasy 7 Remake includes the base game plus the following bonuses:

  • Artbook
  • Mini-Soundtrack
  • Steelbook case
  • Cactuar Summon Materia DLC
  • Carbuncle Summon Materia DLC

The First Class Edition is an even more expansive collection of bonuses than the Deluxe Edition. On top of the base game, players will receive a Play Arts Kai Cloud Strife and Hardy Daytona box set. This figurine of Cloud is 267 millimeters tall and can ride his iconic motorcycle made to the same scale.

Final Fantasy VII Remake Pre-Order

You can now pre-order the remake at GameStop, Best Buy, Target, Amazon.com, Walmart and the Square Enix store. It is available for the PlayStation 4.

The base game costs $59.99 while the deluxe edition costs $79.99. Lastly, the 1st class edition costs $329.99.
