Final Fantasy VII: The First Soldier has been given a November release date. Here's what you need to know.
A new mobile battle-royale game will soon be making the rounds. Square Enix have decided to throw their hat into the ring by launching Final Fantasy VII: The First Solider. This spin-off will be a free-to-play battle royale multiplayer, available on mobile devices, and developed by Ateam Inc.
According to the Square Enix website, Final Fantasy VII: The First Soldier will a "high-octane battle royale game, infused with RPG elements from the Final Fantasy series." While many are certainly intrigued by the concept, its status as a mobile game will no doubt be a point of contention. Regardless, mobile games remain popular in parts of East Asia where Square Enix's main demographic is based. It's no surprise, then, that a FF-themed battle royale would surface at some point.

Final Fantasy VII: The First Soldier Release Date Announced
Final Fantasy VII: The First Solider is set to release on Nov. 17, 2021. A release date share campaign in currently live on the game's official Facebook page. Players can take part in order to earn rewards to use in-game once it launches.
Pre-registration is also taking place for keen players via the App Store and Google Play. Players can also pre-register via the game's social channels on Instagram, Twitter, and Facebook. Special gifts will be rewards to players should the game reach certain pre-registration milestones.
