Five Nights At Freddy's: Security Breach Release Date: When is it?

The Five Nights at Freddy's Security Breach release date is still unknown. The game was first announced in 2019 to celebrate the fifth anniversary of the Five Nights at Freddy's series, but the first bits of gameplay were revealed during the latest PlayStation 5 showcase.

The eighth installment of the popular Five Nights at Freddy's series of games will debut as a timed exclusive on the PS5 before being brought to other systems.

This iteration seems to display a departure from the series's normal fare of grimy pizza parlors and warehouses, and instead takes place in a cassette-futurist mall, complete with neon lights, fake palm trees, and a laser tag arena. The protagonist seems to be a child, like in the fourth game, but appears to be able to move freely around the levels like in later entries.

Based on the timing of the trailer it's not likely that Security Breach will be a launch title, but it wouldn't be surprising if the game came out fairly soon after. Since this is just a first look, fans shouldn't be surprised if we see an early 2021 release.
