Fnatic Invited to ESL One Cologne 2019

Fnatic received an invitation to ESL One Cologne on Friday, becoming the seventh roster to receive an invitation.
The team will compete against 15 others for the Counter-Strike: Global Offensive’s $300,000 tournament. It will be the sixth consecutive ESL One Cologne attendance for Fnatic, having competed at the event since ESL One Cologne 2014. The team has a single ESL One Cologne victory under its belt, taking home the grand prize in 2015.

Astralis, BIG, FaZe Clan, MIBR, Natus Vincere and Ninjas in Pyjamas have already accepted invitations to the tournament. Five more teams are set to receive invitations, leaving four slots open for teams to qualify through two European qualifiers, one North American qualifier and an Asian qualifier.
Participating teams will compete not just for the prize pool, but for a win in the second season of the intel Grand Slam.
Competition at the event itself is scheduled to start July 2 and run through July 7.
