Fnatic Signs Golden Full-Time

Fnatic signed Maikil "Golden" Kunda Selim to its Counter-Strike: Global Offensive roster Friday.

Golden had played for Fnatic on loan from Cloud9 since September; Friday's signing made him a more permanent fixture on the Swedish CS:GO lineup. He will continue as the team's in-game leader.

Golden has only played for three teams over the course of his confusion. He began his career in 2016 with the Swedish team visomvet. August of that year, he joined Fnatic Academy. One year after that, he moved to Fnatic's main lineup and led the team to major wins at IEM Katowice 2018 and WESG 2017 Finals.

He left the active lineup in mid-2018, then moved to Cloud9 that August. He moved on and off the active roster while health problems kept him in competitive limbo.

Since joining Fnatic's lineup on loan, Golden and company have won DreamHack Masters Malmö, earned second place finishes in StarSeries & i-League CS:GO Season 8 and the ESL Pro League Season 10 Finals.
