I know it’s underpowered but what the fuck, at least give us the option to Switch between higher frame rates in exchange for lower quality textures.
Fortnite 120 FPS: Mobile Version Gets FPS Upgrade in Update 11.40
Fortnite Mobile launched on iOS in March 2018 with its frame rate capped at 30 frames per second. In November 2018, Epic Games managed to bump the frame rate on newer iPhones with Update 6.31, bringing 60 FPS gameplay to those specific devices. Android phones gained the capability shortly thereafter.
In both cases, players opt to sacrifice image quality in favor of the higher FPS cap.
For reference, Fortnite for the Nintendo Switch is still only capable of 30 FPS gameplay.
Fortnite Update 11.40 also introduced Sidegrading, revived the Heavy Assault Rifle, and added three weapons to the Battle Lab and support for clickable thumbstick buttons on supported iOS controllers. The full patch notes, available on Epic Games' website, includes several bug fixes.
