The Fortnite Astronomical concert had 27.7 million unique in-game attendees over the five events according to Epic Games. It's safe to say the Travis Scott concerts were a success, and it's easy to see why. Even when the concert was first leaked weeks before the live events, fans were clamoring for any type of information.

And with any live event, it wasn't just about the experience, players were able to earn in-game rewards for attending. Travis Scott even received his own skin and bundle becoming immortalized in the game.

Last week, Epic Games revealed the concert broke the record previously held by Marshmello in his own Fortnite concert. More than 12.3 million Fortnite players participated in one of the Astronomical event, which is an all-time record for the hit battle royale. Also, according to a tweet from Brandon Ross, even more people were watching the Fortnite event online.

Combining all the viewership from all platforms during every concert and the viewership hit 27.7 million. With popularity of the past two crossover music events, artists will be knocking on Epic Games' door to participate.

Epic Games raised the bar once again for in-game content amid competition from Activision's Call of Duty Warzone.
