Fortnite Chapter 3 Season 3 v21.10 Update: Full Patch Notes Detailed

A brand new patch is set to be rolled out for Fortnite Chapter 3 Season 3. Here's what's included in the v21.10 update.

Fortnite's Chapter 3 Season 3 is in full swing, having introduced a number of brand new features, content, POIs and more. Thanks to this latest update, it seems Epic Games has no intention of slowing down, introducing plenty of new additions to keep things feeling fresh and fun.

This update sees the addition of a new Naruto crossover, adding in more Outfits of some of Naruto's rivals: Itachi, Gaara, Hinata, and Orochimaru. This new crossover features some brand new Nindo challenges for players to complete and earn some themed cosmetics.

Darth Vader’s Lightsaber

Darth Vader is beginning is reign on the island. In each match, Darth Vader, along with a group of Stormtroopers, will land somewhere on the island. Players will need to defeat him in order to collect Darth Vader’s Lightsaber.

E-11 Blasters

E-11 Blasters have also made a return to the island. players can pick these up from Imperial Chests, found where Vader spawns, or looted from the defeated Stormtroopers.

Chapter 3 Season 3 Super Level Styles

In the Bonus Rewards section of the Battle Pass tab, bonus Styles for Chapter 3 Season 3 Outfits are available for those who reach Level 100. V21.10 has added this Season’s Super Level Styles.

Players who reach Level 140 in Chapter 3 Season 3 can start unlocking the Platinum Rift, Lapis Slurp, and Auric Blaze Styles for Malik, Evie, Adira, Sabina, and Stormfarer.

Social Tags and Looking For Party

This new update will be testing out some new features; Social Tags and a new Looking for Party invites. These features won't be available for everyone right away, but will instead be rolled out gradually to all players depending on the state of the test.

Social Tags allow players to select tags based on their favorite game mode, your gameplay style (Chill, Mic Off, Mic On, etc.), and preferred competitive events. Players will also be recommended Fortnite experiences based on their social tags.

Once players have at least one social tag, they'll be able to send party invites to and receive party invites from players with matching tags within the same server region. These party invites can be sent from the new Looking For Party section in the Sidebar.

Reality Sapling Balance Changes

Adjustments have been made to the amount of Reality Fruit each Reality Sapling produces, based on its rarity. Saplings will now grow:

• 3 fruits when Uncommon or Rare
• 2 fruits when Epic
• 1 fruit when Legendary or Mythic

Visualized Audio Adjustments

Reduced the detection radius of the “Visualize Sound Effects” indicator for footsteps, Chests, and vehicles to better match the distance when that sound would be audible. This will mean the source of these sounds will need to be closer before appearing on the HUD.

Competitive Notes

• The Darth Vader boss, Darth Vader’s Lightsaber, Stormtroopers, and E-11 Blasters are not included in competitive playlists.
