Looking for a place to use a mysterious Key? Here are all of the Vault locations in Fortnite.
Fortnite Chapter 3 Season 4: Paradise launched on Sunday, Sept. 18, putting a new chrome-covered spin on the Fortnite island. As ever, players can get their hands on a brand-new Battle Pass, check out some new POIs, and get stuck into a variety of new quests. As players traverse the island, they might come across some strange Key with no immediate guide of what they unlock.
Keys in this season of Fortnite can be used to unlock one of the many Vaults scattered across the island. One key can be used to unlock Low-Security Vaults, usually containing a few regular and even a rare Chest or two. High-Security Vaults require two Key, unlocking even more loot. Finding Keys is pretty easy, but knowing where to go to use them is a different story.
Where to Find Vaults in Fortnite Chapter 3 Season 4
Players might naturally stumble across Vaults as they roam the island. An icon will appear on the minimap when a Vault is nearby. An icon with one key hole signifies a Low-Security Vault, whereas two key holes represent a High-Security Vault.
At the time of writing there are four High-Security Vaults on the island, and 11 Low-Security Vaults.
High-Security Vaults can be found at or near select named locations:
- Rave Cave
- Titled Towers
- Lustrous Lagoon
- North of Cloudy Condos
Low-Security Vaults are more scattered, often located in more out-of-the-way spots. Some can be found near named locations, however.
- Seven Outpost II: northwest of Logjam Junction
- The southern portion of Rave Cave
- Seven Outpost V: west of Rave Cave
- Displaced Depot: far west of Greasy Grove, by the coast
- Southwest of Tilted Towers
- Ridgeline Ranger Station
- Picturesque Paradox
- West of Chonker's Speedway
- Seven Outpost VII: northeast of Fort Jonesy
- Seven Outpost III
- Seven Outpost IV
