Fortnite Chapter 5 Season 2 Trailer Reveals Mythological Skins, POIs, & Weapons

Epic Games finally released the Fortnite Chapter 5 Season 2 trailer, and the cinematic revealed the mythological Battle Pass skins, POIs, and weapons coming tomorrow.

All week, Epic Games has teased the upcoming Greek mythology-themed Fortnite season, but we had yet to see any of the rumored skins or weapons in action...until now. The twenty-second cinematic trailer for Fortnite Chapter 5 Season 2 just dropped, showcasing a haunting, exciting look at the otherworldly beings and weapons coming to Epic Games' Battle Royale. The trailer also revealed the season's name: Fortnite Myths & Mortals.

Fortnite Chapter 5 Season 2 Trailer Reveals Mythological Battle Pass Skins

The Fortnite Chapter 5 Season 2 trailer revealed mythological Battle Pass skins that blow the Chapter 5 Season 1 skins out of the water. From Ares to Hades to even the return of Brite Bomber, the upcoming Battle Pass skins just might be the best since Fortnite MEGA.

The season's key art also includes the Zeus, Aphrodite, and Poseidon Battle Pass skins. Check out the image below.

Fortnite Chapter 5 Season 2 Trailer Reveals Mythological POIs

We also got our first look at the mythological POIs coming in Fortnite Chapter 5 Season 2. Although some of the trailer's scenes are just a few seconds long, it clearly shows a Parthenon-like temple on the island. It is unclear where the new POI will be on the map, but we predict it will be somewhere close to Ruined Reels, since that is where Pandora's Box opened.

The trailer also highlights a castle structure that has a pool of water in the center, possibly paying homage to the River Styx. The large POI could also be Olympus, the home of the Greek gods and goddesses.

Finally, the Fortnite Chapter 5 Season 2 trailer showcased some of the mythological weapons, or rather Mythics, coming in the major update. In just the short clip, we see the following Mythics in action:

• Zeus' Lightning Bolt
• Cerberus' Wolves
• Hades' Chains
• Icarus' Wings

It seems like the flying mechanic rumors are true with Icarus' Wings coming to the island.
