Fortnite choppa spawn rates were decreased in the update on June 25. Season 3 brought in plenty of new content including a wide range of vehicles, sharks, and even a choppa. The flying apparatus isn't as powerful as the plane when that first hit the scene, but as with any flying vehicle in a battle royale, it 's pretty unbalanced.

Epic Games has heard the outcry from the community and decided to fix the spawn rate in certain game modes.

Instead of simply vaulting the choppa which was never going to happen, Epic simply decreased the spawn rate in competitive games and playlists. This allows the choppa to still be used in casual games and playlists like Solos, Duos, and Squads.

Some are praising Epic Games' speed at making a decision while others are angry they added another broken vehicle. Fortnite has had some awful seasons, usually tied with an unbalanced machine like the Mech or the plane.
