The Fortnite FNCS Chapter 2 Season 1 finals got underway Friday. In accordance with Epic Games' larger viewing strategy for Fortnite esports, fans can watch the gameplay either on the official Fortnite channel or on the personal stream of their favorite player.

Watching also offers fans the chance to pick up some free in-game cosmetics exclusive to the event. Here's what you need to know.

Fortnite FNCS: How to Earn Drops Watching on Twitch

The first step to earning Fortnite Twitch drops is to link your Twitch and Epic accounts by heading to this link and following the directions. Once your accounts have been connected, you'll be able to earn drops by watching streams with a disclaimer beneath the title indicating drops are enabled.

The official list of drop-enabled streams can be found here.

Two cosmetics will be available for fans to earn by watching the FNCS finals: a banner and a spray. Watching the FNCS on Saturday will earn the banner, and watching on Sunday will earn the spray.

Exactly when the drops will be distributed has yet to be announced.
