Fortnite Season 4 has set up an anticipated clash of Marvel Comics characters defending the island from Galactus. Thor, Iron Man, Wolverine and more have staked out different parts of the island waiting for Galactus to arrive.
In Fortnite right now, there is a bright object appearing to be hurtling right towards the island. It is safe to assume this object is "the Devourer of Worlds". This brings back the nostalgic memories of the meteor that destroyed the island and sent everyone into the black hole in Chapter 1 Season 4.
Fortnite Galactus Event Start Date: When is it?
When zooming in with a Sniper Rifle, players can see a fully rendered model of the villain. This means, even though he is officially listed at 28ft tall, he is actually pretty close to making landfall. The options for incorporating Galatcus are endless.
With his massive size, Epic Games could have the lobby battle alongside Marvel's superheroes to defeat Galactus. Another possibility is having the lobby float above similar to the meteor event, and watch the two sides duke it out.
Whatever the developers choose, it would be great if it happened sooner rather than later. Nov. 30 is the scheduled end date of Fornite Season 4 and that is still seven weeks away. The exact start date hasn't been confirmed yet, but some time in November seems likely. Of course, Epic Games has to get through Halloween first.
The Galactus event might serve as a means to the end for Chapter 2 Season 4.
