A Fortnite leak has revealed what the newly flooded Fortnite map will look like later on in the season as the water level recedes and land starts to rise to the surface.

Chapter 2 Season 3 has shifted the dynamic of Fortnite after there was flooding on most of the map. Although players might have lost their favorite parts of the map to the water, Epic Games mentioned on its website that players need not worry, the water will slowly fade and new transportation will become available once the water is gone.

Fortnite leaker Lucas7Yoshi posted a series of images to Twitter that show what the mini-map would look like when the water is at its lowest point and then when it returns back to normal.

As you can see, the map will slowly make its way back to normal as the water recedes, roads appear, and cars are speeding around the map aplenty. Players who love the water might be disappointing to see it go, but players who don't think Splashdown is the best event change can be happy to know it'll slowly be phased out.
