Fortnite Patch Notes Jan. 2 Explained: Enforcer AR, Flowberry Fizz

The Fortnite patch notes on Jan. 2 feature the Battle Royale's first changes of the new year, and one of them seems pretty broken.

Fortnite Winterfest 2023 might have just ended this morning, but Epic Games already delivered a small hotfix to their Battle Royale to spice up gameplay in 2024. The holiday-themed Quests, weapons, and items have been removed, paving the way for the Enforcer AR and Flowberry Fizz to take over the game. Two new changes do not sound like much, but they will have an automatic impact on Chapter 5 Season 1.

The Fortnite patch notes for the Jan. 2 hotfix introduced the Enforcer AR and Flowberry Fizz to the Battle Royale. The Enforcer AR was previously only obtainable by killing Vengeance Jones, but now, the assault rifle is available in floor loot, Chests, Supply Drones, Combat Caches, and Weapon Mod Cases.

Flowberry Fizz is a new heal in Fortnite Chapter 5 Season 1. The item grants 100 total Shield that can be shared with your squad. The OP heal will quickly become a popular item to carry in Fortnite; after all, carrying one Flowberry Fizz is equivalent to carrying Minis and Big Pots for your entire team.

Where to Find Flowberry Fizz in Fortnite

You can find Flowberry Fizz in Fortnite from floor loot and inside of Chests, Supply Drops, and Supply Drones. Some might also drop when you claim a POI.

Here's All Vaulted Weapons in Fortnite Jan. 2 Hotfix

The following weapons and items have been vaulted in the Fortnite Jan. 2 hotfix:

• Grappler
• Holiday Presents
• Sneaky Snowmando
• Snowball Launcher
• Snowy Flopper

All remnants of Winterfest 2023 have been removed from the Battle Royale in today's update. It will be another full year before we see Snowball Launchers back in Fortnite. In contrast, the Grapper and Presents will likely return much sooner.
