Fortnite Pennywise Skin: When Will It Become Available?

A Fortnite Pennywise skin would be the most natural cosmetic to come of a collaboration between Fortnite and "It Chapter Two." Fortnite has even had scary clown skins in the past, and signs of a collaboration have appeared in-game over the past week. But what do we know about when actual skins will arrive?

Rumors of a Fortnite and “It Chapter Two” crossover were predictably quick to rise, even without evidence, because of the cultural pervasiveness of the two brands.

Fortnite data miners discovered the evidence fans always expected to find in late August. Then, data miners uncovered sound files for Pennywise’s distinctive laugh and an in-game object named “CreepyBalloon,” likely a reference to the red balloons that dog Pennywise’s every move.

The final and most convincing piece of evidence was that red balloon appearing above a sewer grate — Pennywise’s typical haunt — in Pleasant Park.

Since those discoveries, developments have been scarce. No further evidence has been found, and Epic Games remains silent on the prospect of a Fortnite/“It Chapter Two” crossover.

As a result, players have no information about when a Pennywise skin will arrive, or if one will arrive at all.
