Fortnite Streamer Bowl 2 Cup has officially kicked off as yet another collaboration between Twitch and Epic Games.

With the popularity of Epic and Twitch's first Streamer Bowl, how could they not hold another? Below, we've compiled and easily digestible explanation of the tournament, its rules, procedure, and leaderboards.

Fortnite Streamer Bowl 2 Cup

The Streamer Bowl II Cup started at Jan. 16 at 4 p.m. local time for NA East and West players. It ended three hours later at 7 p.m.

To compete, entrants needed to be at least 13 years of age, activated Two-Factor Authentication (2FA), and agree to the Fortnite End User License Agreement (EULA). Players must be within the countries allowed by the United States and cannot participate on iOS devices and must stick to one platform. All within the Open League (Division 2) could apply.

The tournament followed the form of a standard solo competition with players completing against each other in a free-for-all classic battle royale. There were 10 matches total with players being placed according to their number of eliminations. Upon placement, they were awarded an certain amount of points in the competition. The breakdown was as follows:

  • One point per Elimination
  • Five points per Victory Royale
  • Three points per Second Place
  • One point per Third and Fourth Place
  • Two points for placement within the Top Five
  • One point per placements from Top Five to 75.

Whoever wins gets an invitation to the Streamer Bowl Cup II finals.

Streamer Bowl Cup II Leaderboard (NA East)

Canadian player Aliens IWNL came in first with 129 points, three victories, five average eliminations, and an average placement of rank 29.

In second place was Canadian player Twitch Nevify who also had 129 points and three victories, but was sorted below due to an average of three eliminations as per tournament guidelines.

Third place went to US player Twitch DnSpecFN with 120 points, two wins, 4 average eliminations, and an average placement of 23.

Streamer Bowl Cup II Leaderboard (NA West)

US player MonkE Grim ZD with a total of 149 points, three wins, five average eliminations, and an average placement of 15.

Second place went to Brazilian player Philthy Mojo with 138 points, four wins, an average of four eliminations, and average placement rank of 28.

In third place was Irish player NorCal Nugz 骨 with 135 points, two wins, five average eliminations, and an average placement of 28.
