Fortnite Winter Royale: Is it Coming Back?
By Ryan Borja

Fortnite Winter Royale last year featured some of the best talent from North America and Europe fighting for a $1 million prize pool. As the cold weather begins to set in and we near the beginning of December, many players are wondering if and when Epic Games will announce the return of Fortnite Winter Royale.
So what's happening? Here's everything we know so far.
Fortnite Winter Royale: Is it Coming Back?
Rumors have been spreading around the Fortnite community about a potential sequel to Fortnite Winter Royale, this time featuring duos.
The source of these rumors seems to originate from FaZe Clan's Fortnite coach, Hugh "DestinysJesus" Gilmour, who made the following tweet on Monday:

No substantial evidence has arisen to prove the credibility of the rumors, but recently players have started announcing duos partners on social media, including FaZe Clan player Kyle "Mongraal" Jackson, suggesting that a duos competition will be coming to professional Fortnite in the near feature.

While such a tournament might necessarily not be labeled under the Fortnite Winter Royale name, it's likely that such a tournament could take place in the upcoming Winter months under the Fortnite Champion Series.
