Fortnite Wonder Woman Cup Tournament Announced

Wonder Woman is getting her very own cosmetic bundle tournament to celebrate her appearance in Fortnite.

She joins the likes of Gamora and Beast Boy with a competition allowing players to compete for the opportunity to earn her Outfit and Back Bling a day before it drops in the Item Shop. The best performing players in each region will receive the aforementioned items for their valiant efforts.

Fortnite Wonder Woman Cup Tournament Announced

The Wonder Woman Cup will kick off on Wednesday, Aug. 18. It can be found under the in-game Compete tab. Players who want to participate must be 18-years-old or have appropriate permission. They also need to have an account in good standing at level 30 or higher and have Two-Factor Authentication (2FA) enabled.

Once entered, they will either need to enter as or be placed in a Duos team. They must remain on a single machine for the duration of the competition.

The event will last for three hours with players able to compete in a maximum of 10 matches during that time. Each team will receive a set number of points depending on their placement in the matches. The breakdown is as follows:

• Victory Royale: 42 Points
• 2nd: 36 Points
• 3rd: 32 Points
• 4th: 30 Points
• 5th-24th: 29-10 Points, respectively
• 25th-29th: 9 Points
• 30th-34th: 6 Points
• 35th-39th: 3 Points
• 40th-44th: 2 Points
• 45th-50th: 1 Point

Each elimination will add a single additional point on top of the total score.

The top performing Duos in each region will receive the "Wonder Woman" In-Game Cosmetic Outfit and "Diana's Mantle" Back Bling. Every player who scores at least eight points will also get the "Honorary Amazon" Loading Screen.

The Wonder Woman cosmetic bundle will officially drop on the Item Shop the following day, Thursday, Aug. 19.
