A new exploit has been discovered in Apex Legends that allows players to crash entire matches and kick everyone back to the lobby. Reddit user Altruistic_Tourist_1 posted a clip of the major glitch to the Apex Legends subreddit, in hopes of Respawn seeing it and patching the issue as soon as possible.

In the clip, the user shows how the glitch works and how to crash the match they are in. After doing a series of actions including reviving their partner, the screen freezes for a second, then a server error screen pops up, which says "Server shutting down-Internal server error." This shows up for everyone in the game, and boots everyone back to the lobby menu.

It’s recommended that nobody replicates this glitch in-game as Respawn has made it clear that account suspensions will be handed out to those who abuse exploits.

Respawn has often swept aside small issues in Apex Legends as they didn't affect gameplay. However, they have also made sure major glitches and bugs in Apex Legends are fixed as soon as possible, including patches and nerfs.

This glitch can be committed in duos, trios and in Ranked, which is the most troublesome aspect of the issue. Let’s hope Respawn fixes this bug as soon as possible or a lot of matches may start ending early, especially in Ranked where the stakes are highest.
