In Ruined King: A League of Legends Story, Gangplank showed up as a boss instead of one of the six different playable characters. It appears that his model in the game is making its debut as many wanted his design to be made into a skin.

Gangplank's new splash art features him without his usual coat. Pictured to be muscular, he holds his beloved gun in his hand. Additionally, the background shows homage to Ruined King: A League of Legends Story.

A price for Gangplank the Betrayer hasn't been confirmed yet, but it's expected to cost 1,350 RP once it hits live servers. That tends to be the standard for new League of Legends skins so expect all five new skins to cost 1,350 RP.

A release date for Gangplank the Betrayer isn't confirmed yet, but is expected to arrive alongside Patch 12.8, which is scheduled for Wednesday, April 27.

How to Get Gangplank the Betrayer

Once Gangplank the Betrayer hits live servers, gamers will be able to buy the skin from the game's store with RP. Otherwise, players can hope to get a permanent unlock or the skin shard through the game's Loot tab.
