Gavi FC 24: How to Complete the Versus SBC, Should You do Fire or Ice?

EA Sports

Gavi FC 24 Versus SBC went live Jan. 12 alongside the release of Team 2 of the Ultimate Team promotion. Just like Raheem Sterling from last week, there is a Fire SBC and an Ice SBC.

Versus Team 2 is now available for FC 24 Ultimate Team as most players will avoid this promotion in preparation for Team of the Year. Though, Versus Team 2 is much more enticing and exciting. The players available in packs are much better overall than Team 1, plus there's a new Gavi SBC for players to engage with.

Barcelona fans likely won't pass up on the opportunity to add a special version of the midfielder to their teams. That being said, should you complete the Fire card, or the Ice version?

Gavi is coming in around 220,000 coins to complete from scratch, a massive change from Raheem Sterling who cost 600,000 coins. This is the first time Gavi has received a special promotion card, so Barcelona fans wanting a First Owner themed team won't pass on this card. As well, both versions are available for 20 days meaning players don't have to send their fodder or coins right now. They can wait until TOTY gets fully underway to add this card.

Should You do the Fire or Ice FC 24 Versus Gavi SBC?

Compared to the Sterling options, both Fire and Ice Gavi have their merits. Though, based on a few key factors, Ice Gavi just edges out the Fire card in our opinion. Having Incisive Pass PlayStyle+ will help split defenders alongside great dribbling and passing, especially with that five-star weak foot. A Shadow Chemistry Style will be great for either version, and this is really down to player preference. But, if you're having a tough time making a choice, we recommend the Ice version.
