The Genshin Impact Dainsleif questions moment is one of the few moments in the action RPG that allows travelers to roleplay their characters to their liking.

This encounter takes place during one of the first new quests added in Genshin Impact 1.3 called Bough Keeper: Dainsleif. This quest is impossible to fail and simply asks travelers to answer the upcoming playable character's questions. While this may seem like it should be easy peasy to accomplish, travelers seem to be wondering what the right thing to say is. Here's a breakdown of Dainsleif's questions and how to best answer them in Genshin Impact.

Genshin Impact Dainsleif Questions: What to Say

Initially, The Bough Keeper: Dainsleif World Quest was only available for those Adventure Rank 36 or higher. As of Version 2.0, however, the quest's unlock criteria was lowered to AR 28 or above.

After trudging through some dialogue with Katheryn, Lawrence, Wagner and Charles in the City of Mondstadt, travelers will finally be able to get to the main event of answering Dainsleif's questions:

Q1: "The crisis Mondstadt faced was resolved by an alliance between yourself and that… Anemo Archon who calls himself Venti. Who, in your view, was the key to ending that crisis?"

  1. It was Venti.
  2. It was me.
  3. The unity of Mondstadt's people gave us the victory.

Q2: "Who do you think will defend Liyue Harbor in the future, now that they’ve lost their deity?"

  1. The adepti.
  2. The Liyue Qixing.
  3. Everyone in Liyue Harbor.

Q3: "This world has people who gained Visions, and those who did not. Which of the two do you think hold more importance in the eyes of the gods?"

  1. Those with Visions.
  2. Those without Visions.
  3. Perhaps... none of them do.

For those worried about what the right answer is, thankfully the choices here do not have any effect on the storyline whatsoever. However, it is worth noting that Dainsleif does appreciate those who give him the lowest/third answer for each question (e.g. The unity of Mondstadt's people gave us the victory.).

In exchange for getting through this world quest, travelers will receive 800 Adventure EXP, 60 Primogems, 38,100 Mora, three Talent level-up materials (Guide to Resistance, Freedom and Ballad), four Hero's Wits and seven Mystic Enhancement Ores.
