Genshin Impact Kaedehara Kazuha Revealed

Kaedehara Kazuha is the newest character in Genshin Impact that will be released with the 1.6 update.

Information about Genshin Impact version 1.6 has been spreading fast and a lot of things are coming in official by miHoYo. The rumored Inazuma update has been coming one step closer, as miHoYo announces three Inazuma characters today.

Kaedehara Kazuha was announced during the 1.6 livestream last Friday with the summer event trailer. Below is the 1.6 cinematic trailer where Kazuha makes an appearence.

Here are some basic information about Kazuha.

His title is "Scarlet Leaves Pursue Wild Waves," which matches his skillsets and looks, for he has a red streak of hairline on his right side. His Elemental Skill, Chihayaburu, is a phrase in Japanese Karuta that sings about a river becoming full with red maple tree leaves. Kazuha's waist clothing has red maple leaf patterns as well.

Kaedehara Kazuha Skillset

Let us first take a look at Kazuha's skillsets.

Kazuha's Elemental Skill is Chihayaburu. He pulls object towards his current position before launching opponents with the Area of Effect, dealing Anemo damage and lifting Kazuha into the air. While in mid-air, he can unleash a particularly powerful Plunging Attack, Midair Razan, that does Anemo damage and will create a miniature wind tunnel that pulls nearby objects and opponents in. The tap effect of Kazuha’s Elemental Skill can also be used mid-air. If you hold his Elemental Skill longer, it charges up to unleash greater Anemo damage over a large AoE.

Kazuha's Elemental Burst skill is Kazuha Slash. With a single slash, Kazuha deals AoE anemo damage and his blade's passage will leave behind a field named "Autumn Whirlwind," as you can see in the photo above. Autumn Whirlwind will deal AoE Anemo damage as set intervals to opponents within in.

Here are the rest of his passives that you will have to unlock.

• 1st Ascension passive: Poetics of Fuubutsu- Grants teammates an Elemental damage bonus to their corresponding element upon trigger a swirl reaction
• 4th  Ascension passive: Soumon Swordmanship- when his elemental skill comes into contact with any of the other elements, Elemental Absorption will occur and kazuha Plunging Attack will deal additional damage of that elemental type by a certain percentage
• Utility Passive: Cloud Strider- decreases sprinting Stamina consumption for his party members

Based on these skills, Kazuha will be an excellent utility support. His passive provides a great amount of Elemental burst damage that is useful for area-of-effect damage dealers.

How to Get Kaedehara Kazuha

Kaedehara Kazuha will be available June 20. He will be available through Gatcha only- at least for now. Consider gathering not only your Primogems but other materials for Kazuha to get him upgraded as soon as possible.
