The release of Ghost of Tsushima: Director's Cut has brought with it some bonus content. What does the pack offer to players?

Ghost of Tsushima: Director's Cut released today on Playstation 4 and Playstation 5. As part of the purchase, players also receive a free bonus content add-on. Players have noticed that this add-on has a fairly large download size, clocking up to 22GB - almost matching the size of the base game. So what could possibly be in this bonus content pack that makes it so large?

What's in the Ghost of Tsushima Bonus Content?

According to the game's listing on the Playstation Store, the bonus content consists of two items:

  • Ghost of Tsushima Digital Mini Art Book
  • Ghost of Tsushima Director’s Commentary

The Digital Mini Art Book is comprised of 53 pages of full-color artwork, looking into how the team at Sucker Punch Productions crafted the characters and the world they inhabit. Art books can be a great resource for fans looking for further insights into how certain concepts came to be.

As for the Director's Commentary, from what we can see this is where the bulk of the download size comes from. The commentary is a 45 minute-long video where the game's creative team sit down to discuss the inspirations behind Ghost of Tsushima. The video is of Blu-ray quality and features high quality audio, which explains why the size of the file reaches 22GB.

Of course, not everyone will want to keep these extras on their console's hard drive forever. Those looking to save a bit of space can safely remove the bonus content from their storage without affecting the main game.

Ghost of Tsushima: Director's Cut and its bonus content are available from today on PS4 and PS5.
