Ghost of Tsushima PS5 Upgrade Price: How Much is it?

Ghost of Tsushima Director's Cut was released for both PlayStation 4 and PlayStation 5 on Aug. 20, 2021. This version of the game includes all of the original content and adds the new Iki Island expansion alongside some new features. Some of these features, such as the new Japanese lip-sync, will only be available on the PS5 version of the Director's Cut and some will be available on both the PS4 and PS5, such as the director's commentary.

Ghost of Tsushima PS5 Upgrade Price: How Much is it?

The full game will cost $70 on the PS5 and $60 on the PS4, but for players who already own the base game there are multiple ways to upgrade to the Director's Cut.

If you own the base version of the game on PS4 you can either upgrade to the Director's Cut on PS4 for $20 or you can upgrade to the PS5 version of the Director's Cut for $30. If you do not have a PS5 but plan on owning one soon then you can purchase the Director's Cut on the PS4 and then upgrade to the Director's Cut on the PS5 for only $10.

There is also an impending standalone release of Ghost of Tsushima: Legends, the game's multiplayer mode. This standalone release is expected in September and will cost $20. Players who own this version of Ghost of Tsushima: Legends can upgrade to the Director's Cut on the PS4 for $40 or to the Director's Cut on the PS5 for $50.
